#5th Entry : My view on Critical Literacy..

Assalamualaikum  everyone…

Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah. Finally I have almost completed this semester and this entry will be the last one. At this moment I would like to share my view on the Critical Literacy subject since I have learned this subject during this semester. If I have to describe Critical Literacy in just a word, I would say that Critical Literacy is amazing! To be frank, I admit that I have fallen in love with this subject as this subject has changed me a lot especially on the way I thinking about something. 

  

Previously, at the beginning of my process of learning this subject, I found that Critical Literacy is very challenging and depressing. However, currently, my bad perception toward this subject has totally changed. Here, I would love to give a million thanks to the most committed and dedicated lecturer, Madam Zariati Haji Radzali for her guidance to me and all my friends for this subject . She has opened my eyes to look at anything critically and do not just accept something at face value when I’m hearing or read, this is because the words that people use can have a powerful effect on their listeners. Thus, I have to take a lot of considerations and being quite skeptical when judging something or even when making the decision of what people said and write.

Furthermore, I believe that Critical Literacy subject is not just a subject that I have to learn just to pass for this semester, but it is a very important and useful to everyone to learn the skill of thinking critically that can be used in our daily life. This is because the skill can avoid us to be a person that is easy to being manipulated by others for their own benefit.

I guess I have to end here. But before that, once again I would love to give a special thanks to Madam Zariati for giving me the opportunity to create this blog and sharing my point of you with other people outside. I feel very grateful for this chance as this is my first experience to write on the blog. Besides, I think writing on a blog can be a different medium in the learning process. I also suggest the task for every student to create a blog for the critical literacy subject will be continued for the next semester since this method can give them a new method of learning and this can be a stage for them to share their point of view with millions people in the world.
